31st May 2022 was going to be treatment no 24. But realistically it was actually treatment 3 of capexa, which is the second treatment plan. When we started the 2nd treatment Dr Moodley had asked us to give it 3 months which we have done so. Projeta had stopped working so we moved to capexa. Now capexa might have also stopped working. My tumour markers have been slowly moving up, but not like yesterday’s blood test. It went from 42.4 to 52.5 in just 3 weeks. So being pro-active he has called for a CT scan right away. Which meant no treatment today till we know what’s happening.
Tomorrow is results day and if we need to move to a new treatment plan rather quicker than later! Update tomorrow when I know more.
